Raced in the 1995 GM SunRayce

A ragtag team of students built this solar powered car and raced it in the 1990 GM SunRayce (Florida to Michigan). Despite having no experience and few resources, the team took the car to a 7th place finish out of a crowd of 32 contestants. Stanford is now one of the powerhouse teams in solar car racing (Stanford Solar Car)
